About Friendly Lodge

The Lazarus Lewis'The Friendly Lodge #239 was constitued on the 12th December, 1797 under the English constitution. It is the second oldest English lodge in the District of Jamaica and the Caymans, three years younger than the Royal Lodge #207.

Continuous and unbroken working of the lodge has been established from the records at Freemasons' Hall and as such, the lodge has received its Bi-Centenary Warrant from the United Grand Lodge of England and Wales. Of exceptional note is that the masters for the Centenary, the one hundred and fiftieth and the Bi-centenary years were all from the same family!

Friendly Lodge freemasonry truly is a family affair; a brother hood of brothers, cousins, fathers, grandfathers, sons and grandsons.
