About the Friendly Lodge

The Friendly Lodge No. 239 is a Freemasons Lodge in the District of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, English Constitution. Established in 1797, we have a documented record of continuous meetings ever since. We meet at the Masonic Building in New Kingston, on the second Tuesday of each month, excepting July, August and September. Installation of the new Administration of the lodge occurs in February. We are the second oldest Freemasons lodge in Jamaica and have a long history of involvement in freemasonry in Jamaica.
